Pros

Intel offers many opportunities for professional development. There are classes available for professional development, and the pursuit of certification and higher education is encouraged and supported.

The atmosphere is very relaxed with no set work schedules or days. You can take personal/vacation days at your discretion - to no set limit as long as your projects are current.

Most work does not have a fixed deadline - so stress is low. To sum it up in one word: flexible.

Cons

The people are not very diverse. While many cultures are represented among the workforce, most employees are middle-aged males with technical degrees, fitting a typical "geeky" stereotype. This is not the case company-wide, but in a building where technical work is done, most folks are very technical and logical. Few people provide drastically varying perspectives. To sum it up in one word: homogeneous.

Advice to Management

Provide more guidance on setting a career path. While opportunities are available, it is often unclear which career moves will have the greatest chances of success (e.g., which areas are saturated with talent).
