Pros

Direct deposits keep rolling in!

Expectations are extremely low.

No work to be done.

Cons

Management makes no attempt to encourage employees, from CEO down to my manager.

Long, repeated, drawn-out layoffs.

Endless bikeshedding.

Complete absence of high-level project direction.

Each individual team "tries to get what they want," like toddlers fighting over toys.

Canceled projects.

Employees kept in the dark about technical details.

No low-level project planning on my team.

Managers are unable or unwilling to identify internal customers.

Not permitted to talk to internal customers to gather requirements.

Advice to Management

Wake up to reality! Your employees are unhappy. Valuable employees are leaving, and the only ones left will be the underperformers.
