Pros

Lots of teams to find work. Health benefits are fantastic. There are decent managers to be had.

Cons

Timelines can be unnecessarily aggressive. Work can be miserable depending on the team and manager. Layoffs with little to no severance. Reduction in pay, lower 401k matching (down to 2.5%), and elimination of recognition and bonuses due to a lack of proper leadership.

Advice to Management

Own up to mistakes that were made and provide employees with concrete ways of how they will be fixed. Base pay should also never be reduced as a way to stop cashflow bleed.
