Pros

It's considered one of the largest firms in the world with well-known products. The company provides a series of benefits inside and outside of work for its employees.

Cons

It's very difficult to plan things ahead, especially for some positions within the company that require having an on-call pager at all times. Quite disappointingly, some managers do not reward their employees solely based on their performances. Career advancement for employees is not always the main focus for some managers. There has been effort recently to improve things in many ways to increase employee satisfaction rates, but there are still quite a long ways to go. The stock has been performing poorly in the past few years.

Advice to Management

Please ensure that middle managers understand and listen to their subordinates for constructive criticism, and fairly reward their employees strictly based on their performance, not just based on "what appears on the surface".
