The benefits are great, particularly for those with families. The sheer size of the company provides the employee with a great deal of opportunities to grow their career.
Cross-geographical teams in some groups make collaboration difficult. It's also sometimes hard to find managers that focus on employee growth.
Please train managers to look out for the growth of their direct reports. Too often, employee growth is a very low priority for managers.
