Hard-working, dedicated engineers. I had the pleasure of working with many people from across the globe at Intel. I got to meet a lot of wonderful and talented people there. I was fortunate enough to have worked a long time under the same manager, a pleasure to work for.
Things look a bit unstable at the moment; they need to find their focus.
You need to let your best workers know that they are valued. This has to come from first-level as well as higher-level managers. When things are shaky, you should act quickly to keep your best employees before they decide to take a package and leave.
