Pros

Pays well above market rate by 30%. (This is probably why it has attracted a lot of gold diggers.)

Cons

Skills learnt here will not be transferable to any other company. This is not a good thing when there are so many layoffs.

Engineering culture has been reduced to an exhausting game of politics. It's like working in a third-world country environment. 98% hardly speak English, even when an English-speaking person is present.

Information is hidden from people who do not belong to the "pack." Career growth is based on who you know.

Advice to Management

Create diversity.

Managers shouldn't be allowed to hire people from their own village and bias against people from other nationalities.

No team should be hijacked by a certain nationality; keep the demographic distribution in balance.
