A good place to develop technology
Intel emphasizes technology, can work on cutting-edge technology, and influence industry. They encourage open and direct communication. There are many projects, and employees can internally transfer to projects that interest them.
In Intel R&D China, it's hard to promote to senior engineer and build a reputation in the industry.
Software projects are usually not successful because a good way to make them successful hasn't been found yet.
As a software engineer, I hope Intel management will change their mind on software. Don't develop software like hardware, and really emphasize software.
