Pros

Breadth and depth of technical aspects.

Almost everything related to Electrical and Computer Engineering is done here.

The company takes good care of its employees.

Impact that its products have created and continue to create on overall world life.

The possibilities that stand ahead.

Cons

People outside the company expect you to know everything about a processor. Intel does much more than processors, and not everyone at the company works on processors.

The immediate management, at least in India, is not always good enough to handle their job well. Employees go through problems because of this.

The level of aggressive competition is high.

Advice to Management

When you choose first-level managers, a professional psychiatrist should be used to gauge whether the person has the depth to handle high-performing engineers. Ultimately, the first-level employees would suffer because of the immaturity of first-level managers.
