Pros

Still have some smart and hardworking engineers left. You can choose a work-life balance path if that's what you are looking for.

Good for immigration paperwork and filing. The system is very timely and streamlined as far as immigration paperwork goes. Much of the credit is due to Fragomen.

Cons

Too many people managers, program managers, and miscellaneous task trackers who do not contribute anything. However, they set up meetings and other useless, unproductive tasks, wasting people's time.

Company makes arbitrary rules every year to find a way to financially shortchange employees.

Very tight-fisted with raises. Sub-par compensation.

I am not privy to internal policies, but it does seem like women are unduly favored.

Lots of layers of fat that have been cruising for decades.

Penny wise and pound foolish management. They fly multiple planes from site to site every day for carrying useless managers to attend meetings; however, they will not provide dinner to engineers working late at night week after week.

Advice to Management

Get rid of useless people managers and task trackers. Reward engineers.
