I lost my job as part of Intel's ACT program
Intel benefits and salary were excellent. The release package was also very good.
There is always an uncertainty that you or your division could be on the chopping block, especially if you are not employed at one of their U.S. West Coast facilities.
All other internal perks programs also benefit those employees on the West Coast.
With Intel being a worldwide employer, more consideration should be given to the talent level of the U.S. East Coast. Not everybody wants to or can live in Oregon, California, or Arizona.
