Initial recruiter interview, followed by a detailed interview with the manager about their management style. I had to prepare and present a case study to an interview panel. This was then followed by a loop of interviews with the panel, covering specific technical and management style topics.
It was a waste of time; the hiring manager blurted out they had hired someone for this role the day before my interview. This company is borderline psychotic/sociopathic in asking candidates to invest significant personal time when the hiring manager had zero investment or interest in hiring me.
Don't waste your time with this dinosaur company.
The interview featured ridiculous, vague answers on how to approach problems and what to do in certain situations. There was no clear way to answer, as the interviewers were inexperienced and used a poor interviewing style. It seemed they hoped candidates would magically answer in a way that aligned with their own work or thought processes, without providing any guidance. It's completely luck of the draw if there's a match or not.
