Intuit's main products, QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Quicken are mature, highly functional, and profitable. Intuit has growth opportunities in web-delivered software products including QuickBase, Payroll, web-based versions of its core products, and payment solutions.

The company has historically done a good job of promoting from within, including the current CEO.

Cons

Too much big company bureaucracy.

Intuit has been successful for a long time and has acquired a bias against accepting ideas from outside the company.

Stock price has been flat since 2000.
