I received a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn.
We had a standard HR call where they introduced the company and asked me to share a bit about myself.
Next, I had a Zoom meeting with one of the team developers. We had a typical conversation, after which I was asked to implement an algorithm for finding the shortest root-to-leaf path in a binary tree.
Since I hadn’t worked with tree algorithms in a long time, I struggled a bit but ultimately solved the problem with some guidance from the interviewer. However, I received a negative response afterward, which I find disappointing. I believe that, even though the interview didn’t go perfectly, it doesn’t necessarily reflect my full potential.
