Pros: Intuit focuses heavily on two things which made me happy when I worked for them: work-life balance and community service. Intuit doesn't offer dinner on campus, which is probably a cost-saving measure, but also strongly encourages employees to go home at a reasonable hour every day. They're also very flexible about the actual hours you work and let you take work home, but rarely require you to. The managers I worked with were all good at making sure people didn't take workloads too big for them to handle. Intuit also focuses on community service. That's been a big passion of mine for a while, and they'll actually pay you your full-time hourly salary while you're volunteering, even if it's for causes completely unrelated to Intuit (up to 32 hours, at least). They also offer full-time employees additional benefits, like letting them pick a nonprofit to get QuickBooks for free, which I know much less about.

Cons: The only annoyance I had was that onboarding was difficult. My team was always happy to answer questions, unless they were busy with a higher-priority issue. However, there was very little documentation to help me fix the issues I encountered, so I ended up asking my team more than I wanted to. Also, I was hired as a co-op, which meant that I had to go back to college after only six months. Intuit's a good workplace. I'd have loved to keep on.

Pros: Good pay, good Covid leave.

Cons: I was put into a team that had nothing to do with my experience. When I brought it up, they said there’s no real venue to change teams. There was no real orientation for devs to get to know the internal tools, and I had to basically learn everything myself. That, plus an abundance of useless meetings that were mandatory, made it an awful experience that made me self-doubt my own skills as a developer.

Pros: - Work culture is awesome. - You get ownership of what you are building. - Learnings. - WLB.

Cons: I literally found no cons.
