Pros: The culture is amazing. I feel taken care of and respected.
Benefits are good. I love the Wellness for Life benefit and all the resources Intuit provides, virtually and at the offices.
The work is challenging and exciting.
Leadership, from my experience, truly cares about your growth. If you are dedicated to growing, they are dedicated to guiding you.
GED! Time set for engineers to build anything they want, within the scope of making business impact.
Cons: - Compared to other tech companies, it seems Intuit is a bit on the lower end of the pay grade.
- Highly interconnected teams and architectures can create lots of friction if trying to make your own POCs and big independent initiatives.
- Often I find that backend documentation is non-existent or extremely difficult to find.
- Sometimes it feels there are not enough resources (engineers) on teams, often setting projects back and causing blockers.
