Process

The interview was divided into three parts:

  • Personal
  • System design
  • Algorithms

For the personal portion, I briefly talked about my background and one of my side projects. For the system design portion, we discussed how to design a mobile payment app. Interestingly, the algorithms portion was still partially a system design question.

Afterwards, I had about five minutes to ask them questions.

Questions

Design a mobile payment app.

How would you go about storing a list of String formatted transactions in a cache?
