I was ready for a LeetCode question interview; instead, there was an open conversation about technologies.
The interviewer asked about several technologies, including a deep dive into the implementation of frameworks and challenged my knowledge of how things work under the hood.
Overall, I was impressed by the high level of the interviewer but felt surprised and unprepared for the interview I was supposed to have at that point in the process.
The recruiter disappeared for a few weeks (!) and then sent a formal decline email. The day after, they suggested different positions.
Q: How does Kafka work?
Q: How does Spring work? What is IoC? What's the difference between @Bean and @Component?
Q: How does MongoDB indexing work? What is CDC?
