Pros

Free food, transportation, enough "spotlight awards" (if you are a pet of the manager; I was one, so no complaints), high-priced RSU (you get decent RSU if you are a pet of the manager), dozens of hackathons (do something and talk some nonsense; I did that for 5 years and always got awards), great office and facilities. Awesome, talented engineers.

Cons

The company has so much cash in hand and very talented engineers from reputed companies. The products are decades old. In the last 5 years, I haven't seen any engineer delivering something valuable to the company. But that's okay; keep talking nonsense, and you will get decent perks again. So, what's wrong? If you are a talented engineer who is passionate about doing something and growing, you are trapped in this company. Then who enjoys this company? Freshers who get paid a lot and do nothing other than extracurricular activities; old-aged guys who are old enough so that they cannot contribute anything (no worries, no one contributes in this company). You get screwed if you are not a pet of your manager or a licker of management. Count your days; you will be part of the next layoff. Forgot to tell you: every year, Intuit lays off (fires) ~500 high-performing engineers who don't lick well. (BTW, I decided to leave; I am not part of any layoff).

About managers: In the Bangalore office, all managers are from **** service companies. Now you know what's wrong. You won't find a single technically skilled manager who manages highly skilled engineers.

Advice to Management

Keep doing the **** as long as the public is ready to give you money.

Keep fooling highly skilled engineers.

Keep branding the company; at least engineers feel so good about a good brand!
