Good work/life balance. Competitive pay if you know how to bargain. Experience at Intuit depends on your team, but I have found most of the employees and managers to be a pleasure to work with. Great facility in San Diego.
It is a big company, so it has similar issues that all other companies do, like:
Allocate dedicated and smart employees (do-ers) to new initiatives.
Create small, agile, and high-intensity teams for these new initiatives.
Less planning, more doing.
Increase the skill level of employees by having harder interviews and higher requirements for current and new employees.
The team was very helpful, and I actually enjoyed the entire interview process. It took one month, and it would have been worth it even if I hadn't been hired. I completed the following: * One introductory interview * Two technical tests * O
I had two screening calls, a technical interview, and a follow-up. The technical interview was a one-on-one call going through multiple front-end coding questions. (This was for a front-end position.)
