Most orgs within Intuit have horrific codebases. If the org trying to hire you has a 'monolith' (if they don't tell you, insist and ASK!) and you're trying to explore and learn new technologies, RUN AWAY! Far and fast.
It is a nightmare to deal with. You would seldom get an opportunity to learn something new. I would STRONGLY suggest inexperienced new graduates who are ambitious to start their career here.
There is a high likelihood of you not being able to learn best practices. The compensation is great but is definitely not worth flattening your learning curve. You would want to gain as much as you can when you are in the early stages of your career.
Even if you weren't looking to learn, it's definitely NOT fun to deal with the tech here at Intuit. It's needlessly complicated and terribly written.
Please do not be afraid of ripping off the band-aid. Just get rid of the older code and rewrite it. Do not integrate older and newer technologies and make it difficult to maintain.
The craft demonstration assignment will be given to you as homework 3-5 days prior to your interview via email. The interviewer will present a coding question, and you will have to code right away. You can share your personal and professional achie
The recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an initial intro call. The call went great, and next, I was scheduled for a technical phone screen. I solved the technical phone screen and passed all the test cases. I haven't heard anything back.
The interview was fair and tested various concepts in software engineering. It also covered practical skills and basic knowledge of data analysis. The interviewer was friendly and gave time for questions at the end.
