Spoke with a recruiter, who was nice but had limited knowledge of the role. The job was for a ML Performance Engineering position to improve training performance of LLMs. Then had a technical interview.
The technical interview didn't go well for a variety of reasons:
It was a C++ interview, and the interviewer said he is not that familiar with C++, which was also very disappointing.
I messed up my solution to a certain extent, so I agree with not putting me through, but the experience overall was very bad and disappointing due to the lack of clarity by the interviewer.
Cannot disclose due to NDA.
