Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Scheduled an in-person, half-hour technical interview after applying through the college career site. The interview began with a casual conversation about what the company does and the role of their software engineers. The interviewer honestly seemed a little high-strung and stressed, advertising long work weeks from the get-go.

The interview began with a basic quiz on function types, then asked to write a basic map function, and then to make it tail recursive.

The interviewer seemed more interested in showing off his knowledge than asking about mine.

Questions

Write a tail-recursive version of the map function.
