I applied through an employee referral.
The process took 2 weeks.
I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Tampa, FL) in March 2022.
Interview conducted by 4 people. Mostly they were asking questions based on your experience. My major experience was in Java, so most of the questions were based on Java-related topics.
They will ask about the development, deployment, etc., processes you follow in your current organization.
I was preparing for the AWS certification, so after knowing that, they asked me 60% of questions on AWS and 40% on JAVA, Oracle, development, deployment process, etc.
Finally, they came up with a very basic offer for a person having 14 years of experience.
In all, a very poor experience.
I had already informed them before the interview that if JP cannot sponsor for I140, then don't waste my time and your time in the interview process.
Very disorganized hiring process. Communication was terrible.
The manager started speaking about your cost to the company, like H1 sponsorship, during the interview process itself.
I will not be considering JP Morgan ever again.
Mostly related to your current development process, related to SCRUM, development, deployment, etc. Java related and AWS services.
