The first round was a telephonic interview.
I got a call at the scheduled time. The interviewer had good interviewing skills, and he asked me good questions on architectural concepts.
For example, REST versus what? If you have to pick other better options. Some other internals of concurrent hash map and linked hash map.
I was expecting the feedback to be positive, as I gave the right answers. But it seems like they were looking for some more skills, which I did not have and which were not mentioned in the resume already. I have listed all my skills.
But I would mark the interview as negative because after the interview, I waited for three weeks and called at least twice a week to get feedback. There was no reply from HR. Once, he picked up and said I needed to wait for a response. And then, after two weeks when I called again, he searched in his mail and said the feedback was negative, but he forgot to drop me a mail.
I mean, you do not expect the HR to be so irresponsible for such a big organization.
Hashmap, REST vs. other better options, some AngularJS stuff.
