Process
I applied through JP Morgan's online application portal and received a confirmation for an initial interview with a VP.
On the said date, the designated person was a no-show. When I emailed JP Morgan, I received a call from someone in JP Morgan who spoke to me for 15-20 minutes. It seemed like a screening call, and nothing challenging was asked.
A week went by, and I wrote to JP Morgan only to find out that I was not being considered for the role as the feedback was not positive.
This gave the impression that they were not really interested in interviewing me at all, and a time-filler screening round was scheduled only to tick some boxes in HR's Excel sheet.
Wasteful and unprofessional. Avoid if possible.
