• Lots of middle management – the bureaucracy is sometimes very demotivating. • Most of the technology used is slow, probably in part due to extensive virus scanning, but also just inefficient/non-performant code for internal web apps. • Takes too long to get promoted – you need to leave the company and come back if you want to get to the next level. • Mandatory return to office – extensive tracking software is used to ensure we work in the office 3 days/week.
