Pros

Good working conditions, good pay, great benefits, great people.

Lots of lateral opportunity if you want to move around and learn new areas.

Lots of on-campus perks if you like working in an office.

Mentor programs for younger workers.

Cons

Lots of pressure to be upwardly mobile with very few opportunities for upward mobility. Management often doesn't adequately address behavioral problems, which negatively impacts the team. Not flexible about hybrid/remote work.

Advice to Management

Make sure you quickly and effectively address behavioral problems on your teams because it erodes team morale and drives people off eventually.

You have a lot of really excellent people who work for you at JPMC, but allowing non-performers to kill your organizational morale is going to drive away all of your really good employees.

It happened to me and six other people that I know of in the same location.
