Pros

Based on my experience, things change between teams. From the two teams I worked on, these are my notes:

  • Work-life balance: Only expect 40 hours per week from employees.
  • Job security: Only one person I worked with was ever let go during my three years here.
  • Internal mobility: Many open jobs internally for changing teams.
  • Good benefits.
Cons

Climbing the corporate ladder can be difficult here. It generally takes time, but working harder or more won't necessarily get you noticed.

Compensation could be better. I ended up leaving for a 50% salary increase at a different company. They will only really raise your salary significantly if you make it known you are looking to leave by having other job offers.

They will also hire new employees with less experience at a higher salary than you.

Advice to Management

Management is generally good, but the way the structure and rules are set up, it is hard to work your way up the ladder, as previously noted. It would be nice to have a better sense of upward mobility where I can work harder and get a promotion based on what I have learned and proven, not just by only doing required work over a longer period of time.
