Large corporation with lots of low-profile cubes to sit in.
Little to no opportunity for advancement, with exception to management's fraternity-like mentality. No training whatsoever, outside of mandatory CBT to satisfy corporate liability. Abusive management (verbal and psychological attacks against employees and clients) is permitted to persist, despite employees and clients reporting such behavior to senior management.
When numerous employees report verbal and psychological abuse from their direct manager, don't tell the employee to "work it out" or "discuss it directly" with the abusive person.
Instead, follow the firm's so-called Code of Conduct by taking swift and appropriate action, up to and including HR involvement.
