Pros

Good name until you find your next job.

Cons

There is very little growth here because career development is a highly political task, based on the following reasons:

You don't have to be a decent colleague, person, or technically good. Culture, treatment, and opportunity are determined by your manager's race relative to your race.

My team has production issues left and right, yet people who are writing bad code, claiming they have 10 years of experience, are still getting exposure and visibility to leadership because they speak the same foreign language as their manager.

Advice to Management

To Senior Management:

Please have in-person, thorough training for your VPs and EDs on unconscious bias, inclusiveness, and anti-discriminatory behavior when working for a US company.

Inclusion and acceptance of people from different backgrounds and ethnicities should be taken VERY seriously as a US company representing American workplace values. I have never worked in such a discriminatory workplace as an American.
