- Professional management. If the person is a manager, they know what they do and why. Not ideal, of course, but not even close to "FAANG".
- Big tech hub in London, countless teams, and internal rotation is possible.
- Not a sweatshop: although you need to do your job, management is interested in keeping long relationships.
- Salaries are not the biggest in the industry.
- Since the bank is pretty old, some systems are also pretty much made of legacy.
- Regulations usually don't allow the use of the latest software, so be ready for a 3 to 5 years gap.
