Great people to work with, opportunity to learn, and good management.
Strict policy in working in the office. They are very cheap with the salary (I turned down an offer because I knew I was getting promoted, but even after getting promoted, I am 60k underpaid compared to what I was offered by another company; it was a remote opportunity too).
Free snacks in the office, but they only restock twice now, so it is rare for me to get the snacks I actually want. There was always something great, but to cut down on cost, they make it so it's not great.
Would be good to have things like free breakfast, lunch if going in the office, and actual meeting rooms. We go to the office, but we're all on Zoom. We had a game room, but to cut down on cost, they didn't lease that floor.
Every year, there are less and less people staying at JP Morgan & Chase. The retention rate is terrible, but they are switching to React to attract new talent. From the ads, it seems like the salary range is pretty good.
Only thing is, this makes me realize how much I am being underpaid, even while still being here at JP Morgan & Chase. I love Chase as a company, but they are just so cheap.
Stop being cheap. If you really want to retain talent, it costs money. You'll lose more finding new talent; it'll take months or maybe years for them to catch up with someone with years of experience at Chase. I've trained several employees at this point, and even then they still have a lot to learn. I am staying in my current role because I want my team to be successful, so I won't feel guilty taking up another opportunity outside of Chase.
They contacted me via email for the available time slots for the interview schedules. After the first interview, there was no update at all, although I followed up with the recruiter.
I applied via LinkedIn posting and received an email after a month for interview dates. The interview was fine, with simple questions here and there, some basic scenarios, and data structure use. Since then, it's been more than a month, and no one h
The technical interview involves a coding assessment. The interviewers are professional, and it was a good experience for me. They will ask questions from the technologies you have worked on. Overall, a good experience.
