JPMorgan Chase is a bigger organization with different line-of-business units that have their own software engineering teams.
It provides equal opportunities to both technical and non-technical roles.
Some of the teams work on the latest technologies, while others support a legacy tech stack.
In a nutshell, the bank is inclined towards using new tech.
The organization is large, and it takes at least a year to understand it better.
Few roles in a tech organization work under extreme pressure, but there is good support from management.
There was a walk-in on Saturday. The interview process was cool and immediate. However, HR told me to wait for next Saturday, and they mentioned positive feedback after the second round. I was waiting for a call until next Monday. No info as of now.
The interview was good and a great experience. The questions asked were apt to the role I applied for. It was a mix of technical and non-technical questions.
The process is pretty much easy because we just had a coding round in which the questions were easy to medium level. This was followed by an interview on basic general questions, and then a hackathon.
