Not a lot of good reasons right now. With JPMC at the reins, there are no guarantees anyone will have a job. Besides this, the people are very dedicated to doing a good job. It's amazing that there are so many who are continuing to do "business as usual" when clearly this is a wasted effort.
There is very little job security here now. The people are getting rather depressed, as there is so little information about our fate. Also, with the JPMC acquisition, it appears that our pensions and any stock grants will be wiped out without compensation.
Please be very clear as soon as you can about what current efforts are going to be cancelled, so that we can plan for the future as best as we can.
Two rounds of interviews. The first was theory questions and one coding question: transpose of a matrix. The second round was system design of your recent project, a Trie coding question, and one scenario-based Java question.
This was in late 2020 (all virtual) for their growing cloud division in Seattle, WA. The first interview was a single technical interview. I had a video call with an engineer and completed a question with code sharing. The final round virtual onsit
Sent me an online interview, aced it and got no callback. It was not a great process, or they were not who I was looking for, I guess. I don't know what else to say.
