The team I work on is using newer technologies and is working toward a full agile environment. Tech teams understand and work Scrum, and Product Owners and business are slowly moving away from waterfall planning.
Work-life balance. While you can only work 40-45 hours a week, there is an undertone that end-of-year merit increases do depend on working long hours on extra projects.
First, a take-home coding question with a time limit. LeetCode easy, I think. After that, a three-hour session. The people I spoke to were not really talking with me and only asking minimal questions, expecting me to fill up the rest of the time talk
I was interviewed virtually by the VP and an Associate SE for a Python-UI role. The interview started with some behavioral questions first and some questions on my CV. For the technical second part, I was asked a bunch of fact-based Python question
Arbitrary, easy questions, total lack of character, coupled with an obvious lack of control by everyone who was interviewing me. I’ve worked for J.P. Morgan in the past; these guys really had no spark.
