A Fortune 500 company on your resume is a positive.
The workplace was toxic, with absolutely zero emphasis on psychological safety. There was all sorts of discrimination.
Teams need to be diversified.
I mean this to extend to teams with a huge majority of only one minority group.
My horrendous work experience at JPMC was not because there were not enough diversity as a whole. It was that my team, and a pattern of many other teams where minority groups held the majority in their respective teams, were profoundly discriminatory toward the minorities outside of the majority group.
It was utterly the worst experience I have ever faced. I know professionalism in the American workplace does not tolerate this kind of workplace behavior.
Received an email from HR for an interview. Interviewed by a Lead Engineer. HR mentioned it is a technical interview but no live coding; however, there’s live coding as well. It’s a very technical interview, so be prepared for DSA, OOPs.
