Pros

Interesting product. It used to be acceptable compensation, but that is no longer the case.

Cons
  1. Bad management, toxic, and in most cases comically incompetent. Seven years in the industry, and I have never seen such mediocre managers. However, the management style seems to stem from some engineers rising to management positions very quickly, but unfortunately not based on merit.

  2. The corporate ladder on paper seems to target business impact, but in reality, it is broken because of untrained and, unfortunately, in some cases, incompetent managers.

  3. Overall, not a good place for a career.

Advice to Management

Most of the middle managers need training on how to be less self-conscious and be a bit more professional, with a focus on how to create a productive environment. Unfortunately, that isn't the case; some middle managers are doing the total opposite.
