The amenities/perks somewhat have good value, but many are on pause and/or degraded due to the last few years.
Decent WFH reimbursement policy ($1100 over 5 years).
Decent job security it seems.
Nothing else I can think of as a notable pro.
The company has its support teams, the ones you need to discuss issues with, in India. This significantly delays progress, as they are ending their shift when ours starts on EST.
The company claims to care, but it really does not. When you think of corporate, you think of pizza parties to "reward" work, and JPMC falls right in line with that.
The company spent lots of money on their shiny buildings/offices, so they need to put rats in the cages, aka forced RTO, with little to no consideration for how it has been proven the company did better when people worked from home.
Because of its corporate nature, employees know they don't have to be star performers to keep their jobs and that the more work you finish, the more you get assigned.
Many more. This company is not the worst, but it is far from good at this point.
You know you don't have to do so good for us, so you choose not to. Leave and let people who actually care step up and do what you do not want to do.
The J.P. Morgan engineering interview process includes an online assessment (coding + logic), HireVue video questions, a technical interview (data structures, algorithms), and behavioral rounds focused on teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.
Applied online, the whole process took around 20 minutes. It was arranged by HR, and I received a call. The interviewer was quite nice and technical. We started by directly going over my internship experience, talking about a lot of details. Then, th
Coding interview first, through HackerRank, then recruiter and hiring manager rounds. The recruiter round was very subjective and based on the person, while with the hiring manager, I had to go into technical details and talk about system design.
