Very stable job. Benefits are great. Hires with little experience and alternative education. Awesome for someone new in the engineering field to earn their stripes. Great mobility options.
Hard to get new technologies introduced. Certain LOBs are limited with investment to their people and infrastructure. Not very focused on employee growth. No remote employment opportunity.
Coding challenge initially, then I participated in Code for Good. Code for Good was a hackathon where you team up with other candidates. I did not receive an offer after participating in Code for Good.
Code for Good hackathon. I was invited from there. After the 24-hour hackathon, I received a call two weeks later saying that I was given an offer. Very easy, but just be a good participant at the hackathon.
First, I applied online. Then, I had to do the pymetrics tests, which took about half an hour. After that, I had to record a video interview on Hirevue, which lasted 80 minutes.
