Lots of opportunity for mobility. The company sends out emails monthly about opportunities within the firm.
Lots of workshops and talks about innovation in the company.
A nice community of SEPs in the firm and tons of experience at all levels.
They are poor in their response to COVID. Leadership in Tampa isn’t clear with communication about outbreaks in the office, yet they expect us in the office. It would be nice to go remote again.
It’s a lot of loops to get stuff done, though; the bureaucracy is a bit much.
I’ve experienced a nice share of micromanagement. It can get overwhelming.
Remember that employees are people too!
We don't live for weekend deployments :)
Received an email from HR for an interview. Interviewed by a Lead Engineer. HR mentioned it is a technical interview but no live coding; however, there’s live coding as well. It’s a very technical interview, so be prepared for DSA, OOPs.
The interview had 4 multiple-choice questions and 2 coding questions. We should also explain our approach in the video response, which is of three minutes' duration. We will have 2 attempts for the video response.
The programming challenge consists of 3 programming questions. Each of these questions will require you to record a video to explain how you achieved it. Each question gives you 35 minutes to complete and 3 minutes for recording.
