Great 401k, health, perks, discounts, mobility, and decent pay for the area we live in.
Some teams are very progressive and have great development environments.
The teams that have good development work are few and far between. On bad teams, application development work can be poorly reviewed and written, causing a bad learning experience for younger developers. Some projects and paths invested in are very misdirected and poorly decided on.
Work on better code reviews to ensure better code. Try to make sure that when young, new developers are coming in, they get utilized properly and are not thrown into non-dev roles.
First, a take-home coding question with a time limit. LeetCode easy, I think. After that, a three-hour session. The people I spoke to were not really talking with me and only asking minimal questions, expecting me to fill up the rest of the time talk
The interview process can feel unrealistic and is not always a good way of measuring coding ability. It's often not worth all the preparations.
It was a pretty fast interview process. I had a coding assessment. I also attended a Code for Good event, in which I got selected through there. Highly recommend the company and the role.
