Big company, fun but limited intern events, good pay, helpful environment.
Got stuck on a relatively new team, so most projects were still in the planning phase. My intern was stuck making a barebones API POC (which took <10 hours).
Most of the weeks in the internship (like 90%) were spent trying to set something up, doing research, attending meetings, or sitting around with nothing to do.
An internship is supposed to be an enriching experience, but this one felt like a gross waste of time. But hey, if you do well, you may get a return offer.
Two coding challenges, in a language of your choice. The first challenge was relatively simple. The second challenge is more difficult. Use HireVue to complete the challenges. It asks video questions on how you came up with a solution.
It was a process that started with the pyrometrics games. Once you get past the games and are offered an interview, it will be a video interview accompanied by a coding interview as well. The coding part was very difficult.
Recruiter sent a Hackerrank online assessment. I completed the online assessment, but was notified that I was not being considered. Completed 1 of 2 of the problems, which were modified LeetCode problems.
