Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bristol, England

September 27, 2019
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

An online coding assignment in Python, a phone interview with two engineers, and 4 hours of on-site interviews.

The first on-site interview involved some questions about my CV and a database design question. The next two on-site interviews were algorithmic questions (done remotely via video conferencing at their office), and the final interview involved basic Python syntax questions. This was the part which let me down, as I hadn't done Python recently (apart from the online assignment), and the recruiter hadn't mentioned that this sort of question would be given.
