It was a phone interview. The interviewer was very friendly and helped me in my thought process when I was stuck with certain questions. The focus was mostly on C data structures, where at the end, you will be given some time to write code and are supposed to mail back the code, which decides the outcome.
The question was to check for a loop within a Linked List. You need to write a function that takes a Linked List as an input argument and checks for a loop within it. I was also asked to write test cases for the problem.
Some basic C questions on bitwise operations, like how to find the number of ones in a given 32-bit number.
How to find duplicates in an array?
Difference between TCP and UDP. How to choose between them when developing any application? How can you incorporate reliability over UDP? What would be the difference between an ACK in TCP and UDP?
