Nice name on your resume.
Juniper used to be a good company, but not anymore.
There are a lot of politics, and people get promoted if they are from a specific background or friends of the manager. Your job title or promotion has no relation to your technical skills or contributions.
In the early days, Juniper was a good company, but not anymore. It is overtaken by many incompetent people, and the quality of the products and the people has been going down for a long time.
A lot of managers are not qualified to be managers. There is a lot of politics in this company. Replace the managers with people who are technically good and who also know how to manage people. Many managers at Juniper have no clue on how to deal with people or even basic management skills since they only got promoted because of connections!
5 interviewer panel. Covering past experiences, domain expertise, and behavioral questions. 1 hour each. No coding questions. Focus on system design and a deep dive into protocol knowledge. Then, a final call with the recruiter to discuss numbers
The interview provided a well-balanced evaluation by beginning with basic questions about JavaScript's inner workings—covering topics like closures, event loops, and asynchronous behavior—and then transitioning to more advanced inquiries about React.
Straightforward process. The recruiter stayed in touch throughout. People are nice to talk to, and the office location is great. After the hiring manager chat, there were three technical rounds. I accepted the offer.
