Pros

Reading the reviews shows me this: new people are in a honeymoon period, but honestly it’s a place where I lost my hope in the future.

This is a different type of company that touches millions and millions of people, so working here is unique. You get to learn a lot about casual games on a scale never seen anywhere else. The problem is how long you can resist in an amazing gaming company with no vision and no true compensation for hard workers?

Cons

1 The career progression is almost non-existent and this is the biggest con here for the following reasons:- many senior roles from outside the company- only people who fit in the type “talk all day and smile nice” get promoted...- even if you learned a lot, and can show and prove that, you won’t get a senior position because they don’t want to raise salaries expectations.2 Salaries are low for a massively successful company and the chances to get a rise bigger than 1-3% are 0. Ridiculous.....We recently had a meeting about benefits with HR and it made me realise that this company doesn’t care about us.. last year a lot of people left because of pay, promotion and lack of vision and in this meeting the HR said the salary increase and promotions are gonna be like last year. This shows they don’t care if people leave. They throw parties after parties...a ton of wasted money and show us how much money the company made and just one game in London makes more money than the next 3 big gaming companies with under 50 people. Instead of that show us you care about us and give us salaries we deserve.3 All the games are one franchise....farm franchise and too few resources invested in prototypes so the chance to work on something else are very low and the future plans are just old lies like: “we have plans to invest a lot more” “we promise” etc...4 The same people get promotions, work on the cool prototype teams and are not necessarily the hard working ones most of the times. Most of the times you see their desks empty.5 The tools and tech we use are the rubbish and this creates a lot of frustrations. Startups and small companies use much better tech and even hardware.6 Give a better pay to those who work on franchise because they bring in the money and it’s a more stressing environment.

Advice to Management

Let’s be serious and don’t lie to us again; we had one year of pain as a company and, I see, you didn’t learn much. They changed some high positions, but they, the new managers, have the same approach and habits. It’s ridiculous how some think we are not having needs past the sparkle parties and nice office.
