I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks.

I was initially offered a role that was then cancelled due to reorg; however, Klaviyo worked hard to find something else that would suit me. The interview process was somewhat elongated:

• Two calls with a hiring manager - mainly STAR-L style questions + experience overview, some technical questions
• Two calls with site leads - covering leadership approach and strategy
• Three technical interviews (code review, system design, deep dive)

Strong Python fundamentals, high-level system design and architecture understanding, including caching, queues, data storage and resilience strategies, and STARL-based leadership questions.
