Process

The HR person contacted me via email.

I had one HR phone interview (15-20 minutes) and then one manager phone interview (30-40 minutes). After that, I was invited for an on-site interview.

The company was looking to hire several people, and we all had the same process.

On the first day, there was a networking session with the managers and other candidates (very informal). In this session, we were able to ask a lot of questions regarding positions. Managers talked about the big picture of the work.

The second day involved two rounds of interviews with different managers (30 minutes each) and a technical talk (20-25 minutes with questions). They were trying to see how you solve problems.

Candidates also had a lab tour. This grounded the job for me. It gave you an idea of the everyday aspect of the job.
