Applied through LinkedIn. Recruiter called the next day. He was very friendly and easy to work with. They immediately scheduled two phone screens, one with the Director and another with the VP of Engineering. The phone screens were fairly technical, although at a somewhat high level.
Next step was onsite interviews. I met two VPs of Engineering, a developer, and the CTO. The position was for a backend Java engineer, but the developer spent most of the time on SQL queries. I was not impressed by his interviewing skills, although the VPs and CTO were good.
I was asked to solve a data structure-related problem on a whiteboard, which was not too difficult.
Nothing was difficult, but spending 45 minutes on SQL queries for a Java engineer position was unexpected.
